DIY Wedding

I adore DIY weddings.  This wedding was DIY done right.  I love the charmingly chic details of Matt & Nat's wedding {here} on Natalie Merrilyn.  The white vintage milk glass, the etsy print in a gold frame, stamped brown paper bags with candy as favors for the guests; every detail was filled with thought and precision.  Congrats Matt & Nat!  It looks like you had a gorgeous day for your blissful celebration.

Cupcake Kit & Caboodle

First off, yum.  Jill, owner of Stay Calm Cupcake, sent me a package of vanilla cupcakes with french vanilla cupcakes and chocolate vanilla frosting to "test and tell".  There were four cupcakes, but I ate one before photographing them all.  I just couldn't help myself.
Naked cupcakes, longing to be dressed in rich creamy frosting.
The cupcakes were simply divine.  I confess I did eat the extra frosting from the pouch.  And boy was it worth it.  The cupcakes were fresh and delivered fast.  The kit was easy to assemble and I thought the sprinkles and cupcake paper was perfectly chic.

Fabulous Friday Finds

Be sure to check out this Crepe Paper Flower Tutorial on The Bride Cafe.  I love how simple it is and the colors of the bouquet. It is a guest tutorial by one of the first blogs I ever fell in love with, A Field Journal by Livy.  You can find more fabulous DIY tutorials by Livy {HERE}.  I will be using these for a baby shower I am putting on for a friend in the next month.  Oh the festivities.

The Best Friend's Wedding

This past Friday I had the lovely honor of being a bridesmaid in my lovely friend Amy's wedding.  It was gorgeous and made me want to get married all over again!  Congrats Amy and Sam!  You are too perfect for each other!
