Shabby Apple Dress GIVEAWAY!!!! {CLOSED}
From the first time my eyes feasted upon the fabulous frocks on Shabby Apple I knew it was love. I love vintage inspired dresses, such as the Block Party Sweetheart Bust Dress from their 1965 Collection. I think it belongs in my closet and it will hopefully make its way there soon.
They don't just carry dresses, they also have swimwear, maternity clothes, vintage inspired aprons (love these!), and infant and toddler dresses! How darling is that? My favorite part about these oh-so-stylish items is that they are modest. I can't tell you how much I appreciate the fact that these dresses cover up my goodies.
I adore the Inca Trail Collection, specifically the Peru Polka Dot Dress and the Quipu Bow Dress. Other favorites? The Hackney Blue Pencil Dress and the Aquamarine Side Saddle Dress from the Side Saddle Collection.
So, what's up for grabs today? Well, the Ahoy! Dress from Shabby Apple is! The color is absolutely dreamy and that bow at the waistline is the cherry on top or an already gorgeous dress.

$55 CSN Giveaway!
It is giveaway Monday! I am sure you have seen CSN around the blog world. CSN Stores has over 200 online stores where you can find everything from a stylish swing set to fancy furniture to chic purses! I love how versatile their site is, excuse me, sites are. What would you do with $55 to any of CSN's 200 stores? For me, I would go for the shoes. I bought {these} ones in yellow and tan and I love them! So comfortable. Who or what inspires you?
Anything and everything! I get small bits of inspiration from a movie, a song, a photo on a blog or magazine, a shop, a color, everywhere! It's crazy how much inspiration is within our reach! Honestly I do my best creating with a yummy flavored latte in hand, watching a chick flick I've seen a million times. (My How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days doesn't even play anymore! Hee hee)
What do you enjoy most about owning your shop?
I enjoy all aspects, excluding taxes and boring spreadsheets, etc. Creating, listing my items, communicating with customers, working together with them to get to just what they want, packaging the items so they arrive at their doorstep all cute. Above all else, I love their feedback! It's so nice when someone finds the perfect fit for their home decor, or just the right gift for someone. Makes me happy!!!

What is unique about your creations?
I think that almost anyone could make these items in my shop, What I hope makes it all unique is how I put colors together along with embellishments to portray a certain feel or look.

Cupcake Kit & Caboodle
First off, yum. Jill, owner of Stay Calm Cupcake, sent me a package of vanilla cupcakes with french vanilla cupcakes and chocolate vanilla frosting to "test and tell". There were four cupcakes, but I ate one before photographing them all. I just couldn't help myself.
Naked cupcakes, longing to be dressed in rich creamy frosting.
The cupcakes were simply divine. I confess I did eat the extra frosting from the pouch. And boy was it worth it. The cupcakes were fresh and delivered fast. The kit was easy to assemble and I thought the sprinkles and cupcake paper was perfectly chic.
