My New Shades: Cateye Sun Glasses

If you know me at all you know I love vintage attire. I have been searching for the perfect vintage cateye sun glasses for many moons now.  I need to keep them on the cheap side however; somehow I always lose my sun glasses.  I found {these} lovely things for $10.  I'd say that is quite a steal. I think I may have to buy them in bulk.  Find adorable and afforable vintage sun glasses at {le love vintage} on etsy.

Fashion Love: Kendall K.

I am in love. Kendall K.'s Fall line is right on target for this years favorite fashion season. As I am sure you have seen all over the blog world the seventies high-waisted jeans are everywhere. Vintage inspired outfits are not just for the vintage lovers, it's hit mainstream. Kendall K.'s Sophie Shirt is the perfect top for those coveted high-wiasted seventies jeans everyone will be wearing this fall.  The soft sheer material and lacey details balance out the long sleeves and high neckline. Other items I am in love with from her fall line; the mustard yellow top and the adorable floral print tunic.

At the end of this month Kendall K.'s line will be available for purchase online.  If you can't wait til then be sure to stop by a store, just look {here} for a store list. For those of us in Utah, good news: Kendall K. was recently picked up by the Montage Resort in Park City.

Stay updated by "liking" Kendall K.'s {facebook page} or visting her oh-so-lovely {blog}.

Will you be sporting high-waisted jeans this fall?

Wednesday Wish-List: Peter Pan

Who doesn't like the oh-so-charming look of a vintage inspired peter-pan collar? The peter-pan collar originated in the early to mid 20th century and were popular for women and children.  Most often work with bows or tie but not always.  What makes it a peter pan collar is the rounded edges and it usually sits close to the neck.  Find out more about collars {here}.

Spring: A Day at the Park

I have found myself day dreaming about sitting quietly under a tree in the park while reading a book or peacefully walking on a quite dirt trail.  While doing so I can't help but imagine floppy straw hats, light spring colors, and airy fabrics.  What are you day dreaming about today?

Flea Market in Phoenix Arizona

(Picture found here, edited using picnik)

While I was in AZ last week I ran into a lovely lady named Jenny at an estate sale.  We talked about vintage dresses and our love for things of old.  She told me about her trunk show she would be having at the end of the month. I am sad I could not be there.   I am so in love with vintage dresses from the 40's, 50's, 60's. Go in my behalf.  Buy a dress for me. Size six. Thanks!

Winter White Out

Hello dearies.  I hope you all had a lovely weekend.  What do you have planned for the upcoming week?  My husband and I have a goal of being more active. It's so hard for me to be motivated when it is so cold and dark outside; I just want to snuggle up in a blanket and watch The Big Bang Theory.  Anyways, to be more active, we bought climbing gym passes.  We have plans to rock that rock wall.  (Yes that was a horrible pun wasn't it?  Moving on.)  Although the cold and dark days are displeasing to me, I do love the pure white snow that graces the earth beneath me.  To celebrate the good winter brings, try wearing winter white this season.  It may light up those dark days. Enjoy your week!

DIY: Sweater Leggings

(via)

I don't know about you but in cold weather, I live in boots.  I like my toesies to be toasty.  When my toes are happy, I'm happy.  I love the look of thick warm socks peeping out to say hello from boots.  A cheap and fun way to get this look is by buying an old vintage sweater at a thrift store, cutting of the sleeves off, and wearing them as leg warmers.  Make sure the hemmed part is sticking out of the top.  Total costs?  $5.  Amount of time?  30 seconds + shopping time.  Your toes can thank me later.
