I recently revamped a mid-century dresser I purchased at a local thrift store for $20. I was inspired by {this} little beauty at Anthropologie. I decided to give the color blocking a try.
If you are into vintage furniture then you must Restore A Finish. It is such a time saver. Instead of sanding down and totally refinishing a piece of furniture you just purchase {this} stuff and paint right over the existing finish. It it gives it the glow of freshly refinished wood.
So, the project went as follows:
1. Bought a dresser for $20
2. Bought supplies at a local hardware store:
Restore A Finish, 3 various spray paint colors
3. I restored the finish on the dresser
4. Taped off the lines on the dresser and spray painted the dresser
Wow. Simple enough right? Total cost: roughly $45. Total time: 1 hour.

Wow! That looks AMAZING! And what a thrift store find! I love going thrifting, and I think there are some amazing deals on stuff around my town but furniture (especially dressers) is really hard to come by.
