1. How did Lil Petite Jewelry start?

Growing up, I was always making things and had craft hobbies. It wasn’t until a trip to South America that I came across some beautiful gemstones and started to collect them, while reading as much as I could about their special properties. Not long after that, my friend asked me to design a necklace with his girlfriend's birthstone as an anniversary gift. I enjoyed every part of the process and knew that this was something that I loved doing and I haven’t stopped ever since.

2. Who or what inspires you?

Things that surround me, like the city, nature and people inspire me. I read a lot of interior design and fashion blogs and having a camera handy is a must. I take pictures when and wherever I can of anything that I think will inspire me.

3. What do you enjoy most about designing jewelry?

The best part is that I get to do what I love. I’m constantly thinking of new ideas and feel excited about every new piece of jewelry that I make. Knowing that someone chooses my jewelry to express there personal style can be very rewarding.

4. Describe your jewelry in three words.

Delicate, feminine and organic.

5. What is unique about your jewelry?

I design my jewelry to be delicate and simplistic, while only using quality gemstones and freshwater pearls. I’m constantly making new designs and limited addition pieces. Most importantly though, is a lot of love is put into the design process and the making of Lil Petite jewelry.
