Conversations: Happiness

{here}
Me: Are you happy?
Hubs: Why do you ask?
Me: Because I want to know if you are happy.
Hubs: Yeah I am happy.  Are you happy?
Me: Yeah I am happy.
Hubs: I want some change though.
Me: It will come soon enough.
Hubs: Yeah, And then I wont be ready for it.
Me: Yeah.

I think my husband and I are ready to leave Trujillo, Peru. We have been living here since January. We have nine more days here. After we leave we are going to the Amazon jungle for a week, Cuzco and Machu Pichu for another week, and Buenos Aires for two weeks.  I am delighted to travel.  That will be plenty of change for us I am sure.  Will we be ready?  Is anyone?  I think that's the fun part;  the mystery and the unexpectedness of change.

I found this image after having this conversation and posting this conversation, but isn't it just perfect?

I love change. I hate change. But the point really is to be happy, isn't it?

That's so amazing that your traveling around the world. Thanks for your insightful post on my blog. I'm going to Peru in the summer, and I'm excited.

The mystery, the change, the unknown. Sort of scary, but completley thrilling and enthralling at the same time.

It's what makes life worth it.

Wow! Traveling sounds like so much fun. I haven't really left the country but I do travel to different states when I can.
But there is nothing like coming back home after being on the road for so long.

Enjoy your "change" and I hope it brings you happiness!

You are living one of my dreams! I would love to live in all sorts of interesting places. But it probably won't happen. I've always wanted to go to South America!! x

I'm not good with change but that's mainly because it can catch me off guard.

That is just amazing. I am happy for you, that you have the opportunity to travel like this. My boyfriend and I were able to do the same last summer and trecked across Europe for a while. It was an amazing experience and it brought us even closer together. Enjoy your travels, where ever they may lead you! :)
