Estate Sale Steal

I just love to frequent Estate Sales.  When I hear of one I count down the days before I go.  At the last one I went to I found the most adorable pair of mid-century woven lounge chairs that I just had to have. $5 bucks each?  Done! Later that exact same day I was looking at Urban Outfitters and saw an EXACT replica of the chair I had purchased that morning!  What?! Except it was not vintage and it was about $95.00 more. Oh how I love estate sales.

If you are in northern Utah and you love estate sales be sure to check out {THIS} website and sign up for their emails.  Typically when I go to estate sales I am the youngest person there.  I look at people purchasing the items and ask them, "so I just purchase that next month at your estate sale right?" Okay . . . no I don't. But is it bad that I think that?

Be sure to check out the {SHOP SALE}.

I have been looking for the perfect set of mid-century modern chairs for our dining room table but I refuse to pay too much for them...I'm sure they'll pop up when I least expect them at a random sale!

Great find on the chairs! I hope you post a picture of them!

You need to go around with a clipboard and pen and ask everyone there estimated life expectancy and address. Hahaha... We're just morbid sisters. <3

Ah, what a great find! I would totally think that about the old people buying stuff too, hahaha! I think it's ok because I'd probably make a joke like that myself when I'm old. I have a friends that calls old people "grippers" because they're just hanging on to their last bit of life. It always cracks me up.

That is a great deal! I love finding cheap old stuff... we had a chair like it new from Pier One that was a piece of crap! I love that old stuff is always made better + cheaper than new. Just all around better:)
