Hipster Baby Names

Oh hipster names; this made me smile.  Find fabulous ideas for baby names of all sorts {here} on NameBerry. I love thinking of baby names, though there is no bun in the oven.  It is fun to check out the trends of baby names.  It seems as though old granny names are a hit right now.  I know they are with me.  What are some of your favorite baby names?

Well, my daughter's name is Clara and that's the name I love! ;)

When people ask her name we get a lot of "oh, that was my great grandma's name!" I guess I gave my daughter an old granny name! Haha. I was going for a little bit older than that (the name of the girl in the nutcracker) but that's ok. Plus, we like what it means in Spanish. :)

Hazel is hipster, awesome! It's one of my possible future baby names because it's the Mr's Mum's name! We also like Joshua, Elliot, and Emma-Kate.

What a fun post. Yes, it does seem like Granny names are hip according to this list. Of course, I'm partial to the names Jordan for a boy and Logan for a girl because those are my kids names. xo

I know a Clementine, Hazel, Ruby and Oscar! We're in the midst of choosing a name at the moment and we're finding it so tough. Great collection here to think about.

I have a Simon and he has sisters, Paris Gray and Scarlett Darling. They're 18, 17 and 13 now. If Scarlett was going to be a boy, her name would have been Sebastian. I love your list! Roman was tied for Simon 18 years ago, but Si won. I'll have to tell my kids they're hipsters :)

I love this! I heard on the radio the other day that the names "Edward," "Bella" and "Jacob" were the year's most popular baby names. It's so funny how pop culture pervades everyday life, and that people are naming their kids after Twilight characters!

I LOVE this list. But am not hipster-ish. What can it mean? Hmm. I have a few fave names up my sleeve (for the bun in the oven ;)) but I like quite unusual names and the Mr likes more straightforward names...so we'll see!
