Zions Weekend

A couple weekends ago the hubby and I went to Zions National Park with another couple, Kylee and Dustin.  I love Utah and it's gorgeous and diverse land.  The weather was absolutely perfect, about 70 degrees the whole time.  Gorgeous!  We hiked Angels Landing and I have to say, it is one of the most terrifying hikes I have ever done.  It has chains and two sheer slopes on each side of the trail.  It happened to have snow on the trail as well that made it that much more terrifying.

It was a lovely trip.  We ended up rock climbing in St. George, UT the next day at Green Valley Gap.  It was truly a perfect three day weekend.  Short, sweet and action packed.

This is amazing. I've never been "out west" and this is yet another reason to go. I love traveling overseas but have neglected so much of my own country. So much beauty right here! :-)
