Conversations: Tennis Elbow

The conversation goes as so while a friend and I were driving back dinner;

Me: "So, I have tennis elbow".
Friend: "What is tennis elbow?"
Me: "It's when your tenant enflames because your elbows are constantly in a flexed position...  So, can you guess what I got it from?"
Friend: "Eating".

We burst into laughter.  She knows me well.  I do love food!  However, I did not get tennis elbow from eating (though I almost wish I did; that'd be a fantastic story.) I got tennis elbow from being on the computer all day at my job and then coming home and working on my blog and etsy.  Yes that's right, computers are dangerous.  You all have been warned.

Now go outside and get tennis elbow the right way!  From tennis.

Oh no I better watch out! I'm next! I go to school and sit on the computer, come home and sit on the computer, and the shovel massive amounts of food in my mouth several times a day.

Hope yours gets better though!

Oh, I am not surprised. When I have been on the computer too long my pointer finger gets sore from the mouse. That's when I know it's time to take a break. I love friends that can make us laugh! Hope you are having a good week, Rachael. Rest your elbow! xo

I hope you feel better soon, doll! I got tendinitis, which is quite like tennis elbow, my senior year of high school from all the lifting in competitive cheer... It's the worst! Stretch if you can, and eat ice cream... Because that makes everything better.

I think you may have just diagnosed me! I've had arm pain for over a year but I never thought of this and neither did my doc. Thanks for this!
