These look fab! My family are scotish and i miss New Year there when we were younger, they (the adults!) didnt start drinking till after the bells, then they do the whole 'first footing' thing here one person from your house goes to a friend or neighbour to 'first foot' them, and so the cycle begins, the streets are full of people visiting houses with their 'carry outs' (bags of drink!)And thia normally lasts until about the 2nd Jan!! All the bars and clubs were shut. It's just not the same in england. Maybe we should start that tradition :)

May love and joy come to you abundantly in the coming year. Thank you for being a blog friend. Much love.

Every New Years Eve we go to church and then hubby and I come home put the kids to bed. Then have a bottle of wine and mini snacks under the stars, in each others arms.

What pretty images! My bday also happens to be on new year's eve... but what I remember most about it growing up was babysitting. I always babysat for three kids and I loved every second. I would've chosen spending the night with them to being out any day of the week. Some of my fondest memories.

I hate the pressure of New Years! I always feel like I NEED to do something awesome, and when it doesn't happen it's a fail.

Maybe this year. Maybe.

Love the tutorials!

hi there! just discovered your lovely blog! and all these decorations are just so gorgeous! i wish i had an occasion to use them!

no big new years traditions other than spending the night with family and friends. when i was little though all the adults would through money (all the coins) at right at midnight and have all the kids pick up what they can. i guess it was a sort of thing to signify some kind of luck or something haha
