How-To: 40's Victory Rolls

Fall is for sweaters.  And I am a sweater girl, so you can imagine how this photo shoot made me feel.  If you can't, I'll go ahead and tell you: happy.  The photos above are from a collection titled "Sweater Girl" by indie photographer Natalie Neal.  Make-up and hair was done by a friend of mine, Milo McDonald.  How gorgeous are those 40's "victory rolls" in her hair (like pictured in the last photo)?  Refinery29 did a feature on the hair pictured in this shoot and to find out how to do it on your own fabulous locks: go {here} for the know-how.  Photos were taken in the good city of Provo, UT.  I am so proud.

The styling here is fantastic - I love the hairdo's. Can you imagine having your hair in rollers everyday to get that look? Must have taken so much time.

I love sweaters too! I'm just wishing for it to get cold enough so I can finally wear them. That hair is so great- I think it would be such a great look to try out during the Holiday party season. I can't wait!
