Weekend Wonderment

Hello.  This weekend I will be spending time with the family, yes I have been doing that a lot these days haven't I?  My husband's younger brother is leaving to serve an LDS mission in Puerto Alegre, Brazil on Tuesday.   He will be serving for two years.  We will be taking in all we can of his younger brother before we bid him adieu.   A lot can happen in two years.  So many changes and growths in a person's life.  But in all reality, it's not that long.  We are so thankful he has chosen to serve a mission.

To find out more about my beliefs go {here}.

Where were you two years ago?

Two years ago I was fresh out of graduate school, working a summer job as a teacher assistant, looking for jobs and had just moved back home with my parents (fortunately that would only last for the next two months after)

Happy 4th of July Weekend,
Hope :) xoxoxo

Aww, I'm so glad y'all get the chance for some quality time before he leaves. Doing missions are so wonderful. I'm sure it will be an unbelievable experience for him. I am sad to say that two years ago I was in school... and I'm still in school!! ::yay:: At least I'm done with most my coursework so it's just internship and work from now on :)

Hope you have a wonderful weekend Love!

Your blog is so cute! I love it! Dave is going to be so jealous that your hubby's little bro is going to Brazil. Dave served there and we went back last year. Way cool!

You're right, so much happens in two years! I wasn't even engaged yet, but about to be. Working in a job I seriously was miserable in. Life is so much better today! Have a wonderful holiday, Rachael! XO!

Two years can change so much, being a born optimist I say that things always change for the better. Have a wonderful 4th of July!

Two years ago I was just about to quit my day job and launch my little business full-time. I was making the final plans for my wedding.

Now I am married with a tiny new daughter and a thriving little business. You're right - so much can happen in two years!

Hi Rachel, Thanks for popping into my blog and leaving a sweet message. I love Audrey too! My wedding (many years ago) was an Audrey meets Grace Kelly inspired affair.
Hope you enjoy the weekend with your family. It's Sunday night now here in Sydney.

I hope you spent some quality time with your brother in law this weekend. Wow, 2 years ago, I was working as a marketing intern during my summer break for grad school. It's funny that I wound up back in Singapore.

2 years ago, I had just broken up with a controlling boyfriend (he wouldn't even let me wear skirts/makeup etc).. and I haven't looked back since haha :)
