I took this picture in the abandoned house I love. Isn't the wallpaper fabulous? I added the quote by using the free online program picnik.
About the quote. When you stand strong for your beliefs those who are weak in theirs may become offended. On the contrary, be open-minded and let others feel strongly in their beliefs even if they are contrary to yours. You show your stability in your own beliefs when you listen to others.

Happy Thursday
K, Im lovin all the stuff you're doing with that old house. I have only been in it at night, but it looks adorable in the day (at least the cute stuff you've done with it:) What an awesome quote, so true.
I love your blog! You always have the best posts:)
I love this quote, it is so true. I'm a firm believer in standing up for what you believe in!
oh my, i love that wallpaper, too! great picture!
thank you for this today, truly. as of late - i have had those close to me become mad when I have encouraged healthiness and not supported self-destructing. However, I have, humbly learned, that I must listen even more than I speak and be grateful for not only the good -- but the challenging times. You were my friendly reminder today. Thank you. ><>
I so completely agree :) and the wall paper is amazing. My dad and I love walking through abandoned houses and camps up north... always so interesting!

I will be forever jealous of the fact that I can't see this abandoned house in real life, but your photos are beautiful. Amazing work! I always love swinging by your blog!
What a nice post. Really got me thinking.
But what I really wanted to tell you was thank you soo much for introducing Picnik to me on this post! I've been searching for a site like this, and I can't believe I didn't check this one before. So thank you!
I'm in love with it already(:
That quote is lovely and your insight about it is even better!
"You show your stability in your own beliefs when you listen to others." love it.
I love the quote, but I really like what you wrote after. Listening makes you wiser on the subject.

Great quote and I totally agree..I think also as you get older it gets easier to stand up for yourself. We all should do it however, at any age!

This is lovely... I just finished watching "You've got mail" Remember the part when Meg Ryan says "Fight Fight fight..." and she pumps her fists...thats the pep talk I give myself when I have to ruffle some feathers... love it... Stand tall!
Excellent words of wisdom and a lovely picture to go with it too.
Words of wisdom, indeed!!
Great quote. It is very true. Be true to yourself and to your beliefs but you should always be open minded enough to listen to what others have to say.
Exactly what my girl Jessica said! We both want to come see that house! Beautiful quote and so full of wisdom! Thank you for sharing!
I love that quote. It hits home a lot for me. So, thank you :)
