Sitting on the Dock of the Bay

The family cabin my Great Grandpa Love built many moons ago.
A serene lake nearby.
The scared fish my cousin caught.
Sunbathing on the dock.

I had a lovely time at the family cabin.  My family lives all across the nation from Texas to Tennessee to Arkansas to my family in Utah.  We are all over the country in different states.  Our family cabin in Island Park, Idaho brings us all together.  We celebrated our Grandparent's 50th Anniversary while enjoying the serene outdoors.  Fifty Years!  That's more than double my life time.  I can't wait to be there and see what has become of my own love with my husband.  It was a lovely weekend.  I hope you enjoyed yours!

I know what it feels like having family spread out like that. How wonderful though that you have a central meeting point.

50 years! Wow, that is amazing. I hope they tell you their love story and that you take note. There is something so amazing and beautiful about old people. I love hearing them share gems from their lives.

Gorgeous post, and the pictures are divine. Stunning place!

Once again, fantastic photos! You really do have a gift. Have you taken any courses?

I'd give anything to be sunbaking right now, instead of being all wrapped up and cold :(

Love your hat!
