Grubs, Elixirs, and Floating Houses

Be sure to check out my {GUEST POST} on Wild and Precious.  I never shared my experience of the Belen Market and the floating village of Belen in the Amazon Jungle of Peru.  Amazing photos.  Don't ask me why I never posted these!  There where too many amazing things to share, what can I say?

If you want to see more, visit my guest post on Blair's blog {HERE}.

Oh YIKES! When I was in Japan I ate a chocolate-covered ant. But it didn't really look like an ant. These grubs really look like grubs! Ick.
Still, glad I found your blog :)

Awesome photo of your hubby! Gotta love that he's eating what the locals eat.

When I take travel pictures, I get overwhelmed by the sheer amount I've taken, so oftentimes they sit in a folder.

p.s. just checked out the post on Wild and Precious. It was fun and informative! If you get a chance, don't forget to enter my giveaway.

What a great photo. I'm getting hungry now. Haha. I'm so super excited to get a badass camera someday. I'm so torn between Nikon and Cannon. Decisions decisions.

Congratulations on the guest blogging spot!

You're very brave. I could never eat grubs :/ I can't even stomach duck! I have a weak stomach and a vivid imagination, haha.

Wow, you are Brave! those photos are great, What a great adventure. I will have to ask (because I'm curious) did you need specific vaccines? did you ever get sick? (drinking water etc?) I went to Mexico several years ago, I'm a native right, and guess what happened, I got sick!!ended in the hospital with IV antibiotics. Because I ate some goodies from a street vendor...I thought I was immune...LOL.

I have some friends that ate chicken feet in China. Sounds about as bad as it looked in the picture. LOL.
