A little hiking and biking in Lake Tahoe, California does the soul good. The water was so pure and so clean. The scent of pine filled the clean mountain air. Our trip to Lake Tahoe was a dream. Last week we stayed in Lake Tahoe for three days last week then we headed to San Fran, California for the next few days.
It was interesting to go from blissful-blue lake water slash mountain town to the busy-bustling-oceanside city of San Francisco. To see, feel, smell, experience the difference was interesting. I loved visiting both places.
I'd like to live in the mountains and be close to a lively and historical city like San Fran, California.
Do you prefer the city or the mountains?

These pictures are so awesome - it makes me want to go visit Lake Tahoe - I've never even been there!
I can't decide if I'm a city girl or mountain girl. I definitely live near mountains now and it's breathtaking, but the city is exhilarating...so I don't know!
Fresh, crisp, beautiful! Renenergized for the new week I bet!
What a pretty sight.
I love those blissful photos and I adore both...city and the mountains. It’s great to experience the different vibes:)
Kisses sweetie and enjoy your day :)

I coud leap straight into that water and swim to the other shore... what a beautiful day!
That sounds wonderful! What beautiful photos :) California is probably my favorite state (other than Michigan of course ;) mostly because it reminds me so much of Greece, where my family is from. With the beautiful water and mountain backdrop....just to die for. So happy you had a nice trip, good to have you back!
Gorgeous photos and you are pretty.

I have always been a city girl, growing up in one. Would love to be in the mountains for a change. I wonder how that would be. ;)

That looks SO beautiful :) If I had to choose between ocean or mountains I think I'd go with the ocean...but based on your pics it looks like both can be achieved!
I like being just outside the city...able to go to it easily if I want, but being just outside so I don't hear all the city noises and happenings.

I'm going to say I prefer the city, but only because I have never been to the mountains before. I think I'm missing out on something great.
I love these photos. My favourite is the one of the tree with the bike down the bottom!
