How did you know I needed to read exactly this, exactly when I first woke up and logged in to catch up in blog-world, exactly when I was trying to shake myself out of worry and fear and back into "what's meant to be will be" ... ? :)
Beautiful, and so true. I'm printing it out to remind myself.
thankyou so much for tagging me in your last post hun, :) and congrats on the award! your blog is fab, i love this quote...one for the wall of quotes i think xx
Rachael - my mom just gave me a book to read, I was sort of like ...nah... because there is one I wanted to buy at the bookstore... but then I saw the name and it sounded vaguely familiar and I knew its because you had recommended it! Its The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society. I can't wait to read it especially thinking of your beautiful post about it!
Well, I'm quite a drama queen, so I'm not with you about this post. I think it's fun to expect, and to achieve something or to be let down. It's cool to demand, but learning to give at the first place. And I'm too stubborn to let everything be. I need to be in control of as many things as possible. After all, it's my life! :P
I agree with Fe. When i first read this quote, i wanted to feel good about it but i couldn't. i love fate. i believe in destiny. but i also believe in the old saying you reap what you sow. it is good to ask, and sometimes even demand. "ask and you shall receive." and he who never asks can never complain about not getting it.
